Any chance of increasing image size?

Current all taggers use 448x448 images, any chance of increasing them to something like 640 and call it v3?
Bigger images would mean:
- redownloading the whole of Danbooru and preprocessing it all again, with related cloud costs;
- higher cloud storage costs, since I keep the archive of preprocessed images in cold storage so I can train new/updated models in the future;
- longer training times: an increase from 448 to 640 is a 2x increase in image surface with equivalent or even higher increase in training times.
I'm not opposed to the idea in principle, but I need a better case to be made other than "bigger images loses less details when resized".
