Meme abilities?
Can this new Idefics2 generate memes for images or is there any plans for your group in doing so? I'm wondering how well this could work with the newer version as only been able to find this being done by OpenAI otherwise.
Yes, this can be very much done with our model.
Indeed, we have already done it with our previous version Idefics1 on this space: https://huggingface.co/spaces/HuggingFaceM4/AI_Meme_Generator (which might be broken or slow now since it's not maintained).
We are not planning to do that yet, but if you are interested in this, I encourage you to clone the space I mentioned above, and adapt it to create a new AI Meme Generator.
I have no knowledge on how to code at all. I hope someone else will eventually be able to do it then. I'm not even sure how one would get started with mixing them together let alone make it work.
