I have the same question. I can't import the weights until I accept as I keep getting a forbidden error

Hi, thanks for the response, I'm still having a hard time actually finding the button, it doesn't seem to be very obvious to me, can you describe in greater detail where exactly it is located on the page, or possibly take a screenshot?

same here. I look and look on the card https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v1-4 and there is NO button or checkbox. searching for "Accept license" returns zero result in that page. WHERE is it exactly in the page?

Hey all! The gate mechanism was removed, so you don't need to click a checkbox now. You still need to adhere to the license though.

by 'adhere to the license' do you mean legally only or is there another technical mechanic replacing the checkbox/button as well?

If this is so, why can't I continue with the download? I still get an unauthorized message.

that did not resolve issue; I am still getting error message: need to "Accept license"; I have already "Accepted the license" so now I do not get a option to "Accept license".

Resolved for me: Need to download and unzip then install both ( sd-v1-4.ckpt and sd-v1-4-full-ema.ckpt) then no issues. GLHF.

Why is it so hard just to use it ???

I have downloaded the ckpt files, now what am i supposed to do with them ? Where do i put them ?

@Gainer333 if the downloaded file symbol looks like a gray down arrow with a couple chevrons just above the arrow all pointing down; if I remember correctly what I did was: right click/open with.../ unzip; and I believe I unzipped to that same folder. both sd-v1-4.ckpt and sd-v1-4-full-ema.ckpt need to be unzipped and installed.

@Electricity it does not work. Could you plz show me a screen of your folder : invokeai\models\ldm\stable-diffusion-v1 so i can see how you did unzip and what is where please ?

Hey i found a solution in a YT Tutorial COmment. New Accounts dont have the Button. It it automatically accepts the license term. If you guys try to install via invokeAI yout have to click RMB (right mouse button) to paste your token password

To anyone who is installing using InvokeAI source installer.. right click on the CMD window for InvokeAI itself. This will allow the app to accept the terms for you. The links only show the license agreement itself, that is all.

Having similar issues, at dreambooth colab, it says accept license to log in at hugging face

Never in my life i previously ran into a installation so shitty. It's totally incredible. Now that i want to try and reinstall everything to try with this token solution you gave, the installer tell me "python .3.9 or higher can't be found" so it will not install.

It is on the exact pc i did ran the entire installation previously and i have the latest version of python installed. Never in my life i saw something as shitty as invokeai installation

@Gainer333 The problem should be the latest version of python. Deinstall Python 3.11. Install 3.10 and maybe try this custom install batch from istein. This G extra fix the installer for us and it finally works for me. It´s down below this Thread. https://github.com/invoke-ai/InvokeAI/issues/1949

For those coming from invoke AI installation: there is nothing to accept anymore, maybe just viewing the related models links is sufficient. All you have to do is generate a token and you should be fine. Don't bother finding an actual "accept license" button.

I just went through this problem during installing invoke AI for the last step of downloading Stable Diffusion model weights files, actually there is no such button of "accept license" on Hugging face, you just need to continue the procedure and create a token and paste it back so you gain the "license". Don's bother find the unexisting "accept button" bro!

NVM solved it by using cmd:

These guys are so lame.. like seriously its like a game that everyone is playing... just say where the license is on the page instead of being all vague about it

i was having this issue and i could not find a decent explanation. here it is: there's no checkbox for new users. first register/have a huggingface account. go to https://huggingface.co/settings/tokens and make sure you have an api token. this should be set to write. copy this to clipboard. next will differ depending on your system/usage, but use terminal/command prompt/other go to path (ie ..\diffusers\examples\inference in your installation directory) and enter 'huggingface-cli login'. you should already have a directory and dependencies installed at this point btw and if you do not then you need to seek guidance on this other preliminary stuff elsewhere first. if login is successful it will display "To login, huggingface_hub requires a token generated from https://huggingface.co/settings/tokens .
Token can be pasted using 'Right-Click'. Token:" use right-click. it will not indicate that this has been successful but just hit it once and press enter. if successful it will display "Add token as git credential? (Y/n)" enter y or n. n worked for me and y did not. then displays "Token is valid.
Your token has been saved to .....cache\huggingface\token" where blahblahblah is your filepath. "Login successful". then run your python script or whatever and it will download locally. as for that, that is a separate matter. this is just how the other accept terms thing works ok? hope this helps
