I am new to embeddings so correct me if I am wrong, but an embedding model needs to be trained in the same language as the RAGs that you want to create, correct? Does this model support German embedding creation?
yes you are correct. nomic-embed-v1 and 1.5 only support english at the moment. if you want english sentence embeddings, those are the models you should use.
