Model Card for Mixtral-8x22B-Instruct-v0.1

The Mixtral-8x22B-Instruct-v0.1 Large Language Model (LLM) is an instruct fine-tuned version of the Mixtral-8x22B-v0.1.

Mixtral-8x22B-v0.1 has the following characteristics:

  • 140.6B parameters
  • 39.1B active parameters
  • 64k context window
  • 32768 vocab size
  • Supports function calling

How to use

It is recommended to use mistralai/Mixtral-8x22B-Instruct-v0.1 with mistral_inference and mistral_common. For HF transformers code snippets, please keep scrolling.

After installing mistral_inference, a mistral-chat CLI command should be available in your environment. You can chat with the model using

Limitations

The Mistral 8x22B Instruct model is a quick demonstration that the base model can be easily fine-tuned to achieve compelling performance. It does not have any moderation mechanisms. We're looking forward to engaging with the community on ways to make the model finely respect guardrails, allowing for deployment in environments requiring moderated outputs.
