I wanted to inform you that I uploaded your Elysium models (V1 and Anime_V1, _V2 and _V3) to CivitAI. You can find them at https://civitai.com/models/7850. This created a flashfire over there so I want to be sure you don't mind me uploading it there. Furthermore, just to be sure, are you on CivitAI under the name shinomakoi or is that someone else saying they are you? Just so I can get a final answer and close this issue. Please be assured I never intended to steal you work or cause any prejudice. I just wanted to spread your work to more people so they could admire the results.

I'm not sure if it's me or not πŸ˜… but if it's not thanks for the attempt. out of curiosity how is it possible to steal models from a member who runs locally and doesn't share any work on line or is this concerning a online user who has trained or mixed the models?

Does the art look like the picture above?

Nope, not like that at all. But I love the look you got there and you're making me curious about how to achieve that kind of look, espcially the eyes! That little fae girl is just uncannily adorable! Is this 100% AI generated, or is there some touch-up on the picture?

I was trying to reach the author of the SD Elysium models series (Elysium_V1 and Elysium_Anime_V1, _V2 and _V3). Since the models were not available on CivitAI.com, which is a much more convivial site for searching, comparing and downloading SD models, I uploaded it there. Since I'm kinda new with the site and the upload tools, I did not hide the
model until I finished uploading and documenting everything and unfortunately, I forgot to put the link back to Hugging Face and the author name give attribution correctly.

Then, a self-proclaimed white knight came down with insults and bad mouthed me about stealing someones model to make easy internet point. Now, that person is not the author, does not seem to know the author and basically just seems to be a general busybody. But, he did raise a few valid points in between the insults and general uncouth speach. So I did my due diligence.

I posted this to know the author whishes about the model. Sould he reply, I WILL comply with his wishes, the following nonwithstanding. However, this made me research and review the OpenRAIL-M (for Models) license, which is basically similar to CC ATTRIB SA (Attribution, Share-Alike), plus the option to restrict any specific use of the AI artifact (the model in this case) the original author wants to prevent upfront. At its most basic, it includes not using the model to impersonate a real person nor, through the use or misuse of the model, to cause or allow any harm or prejudice to affect a real person. So I checked, and we are talking about the standard OpenRAIL-M license here, with no extra restrictions. This, unfortunately for our busybody, means I can legally and morally distribute, modify, merge, train, alter, and even sell the model or include it in a commercial, for-profit, product, as long as I : - Attribute the AI artifact to the original author, - Ensure that at minimum, the same licence with the same restrictions is applied to the distribution.

All this to say I don't even need to ask the author for permission to do anything with the model as long as I follow those rules.

Sorry for the rant, you probably did not even want to hear all this. But it does good this get this off my mind, and I think it included much information that needs to be better understood by the community...

Regards,

Thank you! There was a spec on the earlobe and I added the little line for the teeth. I use a handful of custom trained and mix of v3 etc models a friend had developed πŸ™‚

Oh I see that's interesting yeah there's always someone like that πŸ˜• I appreciate your humble attitude about it and willingness to help. I'm still learning a lot myself and definitely hope I don't step on any toes. So far it's been neat meeting so many helpful new friends πŸ™‚

It's very insightful thanks for letting me know and I'll have to check out that other site as well. I'm curious who else may have my name πŸ˜… I'd be happy someone was sharing my work.

I'm a artist and hope to train my own models in my art style. Here's a WIP I'm currently painting in Photoshop it's taking me so long I wish I could create as fast as AI lol

😜

You have great concepts and an interresting style. Are you training your model to bring your style to a more realistic look, or to bring reality more towards your dreamy style? I'm sure you understand what I mean πŸ˜‰. Either way, good journey on the roads of AI. I'll keep an eye out for what you make!

Thank you! πŸ™‚ I haven't started yet but my goal is to teach AI so that long after I'm dead someone can ask me (my AI) to draw something for them and it'll do it in my style πŸ˜… I don't think I'd like to use it to modify my style in any way.

Thank you! you too!

Yes Shinomakoi is my account on Civitai. I haven't uploaded the old Elysium models yet cause I think they're out of date now, but I was thinking of uploading clip fixed, safetensor versions for archive. I'm not angry and I don't think you had bad intentions but I wish you would have asked first. And yea I don't know that Coolperson guy by the way.

Nice I'm glad it worked out πŸ™‚πŸ™

So, do you want me to remove them? I would find it a shame, as I still think they are some of the best models out there. I know I'm getting great character portraits out of V2 and V3!
I'm sorry I didn't ask. As I understood the OpenRAIL-M license, I didn't need to, I just needed to give attribution and distribute under the same license. What started the flood is that I forgot to put the attribution on the page at first. Now, everything is corrected but I believe I gathered a troll that will haunt me for a long time :(
Anyway, you have my deepest thanks for the work you did on this model. I'm eager to see what comes out of your future models. You do amazing work here!
