License

Hi,
Incredible model! Just wondering why you decided to switch from MIT to NC?
Thank you!

Hi, I'm the author of the OpenDalle GPU demo and I'm concerned about this clause:

c. The Licensee shall not publicly display, perform, or communicate the Model, the merging method, or any derivative works thereof without the prior written consent of the Licensor.

Does the demo count as displaying, performing, or communicating the models?

Thank you!

it absolutely does not! i just did not want some company to yoink my model and claim it to be there due to the license being so permissive before. display's or demos while supplying credit do not violate the TOS/license whatsoever! feel free to make as many demos or pipelines with my model as you want for demos and so on!

Thank you! That makes sense. Also, does the license affect the outputs (ie generated images)? Should I add a note on the demo saying they can only be used for NC?

yeah for now that would be a good idea. my model blew up so much that my mother even found out and said I have to talk to a lawyer lmao. had big companies reach out to me. so I have to get all of that nonsense sorted out first. I truly can't believe that I have gotten this much support! thank you all <3

OK, so there is a restriction on generated content? I'll add a note on the demo. Thanks!
