This article is mainly aimed at Art and Design students, but it is also an attempt to nudge AI researchers who would like to better consider benefits from collaboration with designers and artists.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer just a buzzword—it's a transformative force driving change across industries. Leading edges in the field include areas such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, and ethical AI. From self-driving cars to voice assistants, AI is making its presence felt in countless ways. And yet, despite the rapid advancements in AI, there remains a vast untapped potential at the intersection of AI and art/design.

As an arts or design student, you may wonder how you can contribute to these fields. The good news is that there are many ways for artists and designers to get involved with AI and make valuable contributions.
