How to get a model widget to show up?

It seems like the model widget should go in the inference pane (on the right under downloads, under "inference API", e.g. this model)). But my model doesn't show the widget. I tried changing the pipeline tag but I still see this under "inference examples":
This model does not have enough activity to be deployed to Inference API (serverless) yet. Increase its social visibility and check back later, or deploy to Inference Endpoints (dedicated) instead.
