Why don't you upload these to separate branches?
We only need one of these bin files, right? It would help if you uploaded the versions to separate branches, like you do with GPTQ models. That way, when we download it with webui, it doesn't have to download all of them.
Yeah I could. You certainly don't want to be downloading all of them. Most people just download them outside of text-gen I think. There was a PR added to text-gen a few weeks ago which would allow individual file download from a repo, I thought that was going to be merged and then it'd be easy to download a single file from in the UI. But it's not been merged yet, not sure why.
I'll investigate the state of that PR and if it doesn't look like it's going to be merged, I'll see about branches for GGML also.
Or you may as well download manually just the one file you need like the rest of us do, you know? I for one prefer all the files in one place rather than scattered all around the website.
