I'm unfamiliar with qwen 2.5, does it use ChatML format?
Qwen 2.5 uses its own format that looks pretty compatible with ChatML format, but has options for tool calls in the template.
You can use the chat template in tokenizer_config,json (LM Studio loads it automatically I believe). It should also work in ChatML if you don't need tools, I think?
(I did DPO in ChatML.)
