The original model was trained on the <a href="https://laion.ai/blog/laion-5b/" style="text-decoration: underline;" target="_blank">LAION-5B dataset</a>, which scraped non-curated image-text-pairs from the internet (the exception being the removal of illegal content) and is meant for research purposes.
