Computational Mass Spectrometry Group - Technical University of Munich - School of Life Sciences

We are a research group at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) focused on developing platforms and tools for the analysis and interpretation of mass spectrometric data. Our goal is to make this data more accessible and usable for the broader scientific community, and to translate findings into research and clinical practice. Our research combines state-of-the-art methods from computer science, such as in-memory databases and neural networks, to improve the understanding and analysis of mass spectrometric data. We aim to develop integrative tools for scientists to evaluate, analyze, and interpret their own data.

Team

Our team is led by Prof. Dr. Mathias Wilhelm, an expert in computational proteomics and bioinformatics. Current team members are listed here.
