Saeid Janizadeh

A geospatial data scientist is researching the application and development of hybrid machine learning algorithms to predict geo-environmental issues. With expertise in spatial modeling, hydrology, machine learning, remote sensing, climate change, and land use change, he is currently focused on predicting natural hazard susceptibility (e.g., wildfire, flood, and landslide) using hybrid machine learning techniques and flood detection using UAVSAR data and deep learning models. His research also explores the impacts of land use and climate change on these natural hazards.
