Overfit-GM

Who We Are

Overfit-GM is a team of NLP enthusiasts who have developed a smart and fast tool for detecting offensive language in Turkish texts called NoOffense. Our package was developed as part of the Türkiye Açık Kaynak Platformu NLP challenge, and is versatile and supports multiple standard NLP tasks. However, our particular focus is on detecting offensive language in Turkish texts. We have a Hugging Face space dedicated to pretrained models for this task, which contains a wide variety of models trained specifically for detecting offensive language in Turkish text.

Our Mission

At Overfit-GM, our mission is to make the online world a safer place by detecting and combatting offensive language in Turkish texts. We believe that everyone should be able to communicate online without fear of being exposed to hateful or harmful language, and we are committed to doing our part to make that vision a reality.
