We take pride in being a young and enthusiastic team of researchers, driven by a shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and innovation in the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence.
As reliable and proactive partners in projects funded by Horizon Europe, our focus lies particularly on Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) and Innovation Actions (IA), with a specialization in pilots conducted in clinical and educational environments. Our multidisciplinary group brings together experts with diverse knowledge and skills covering:
- Advancing conversational intelligence
- Spoken and natural language generation and processing
- Digital Interventions and Patient Sensing
- Decision support systems and care planning
- Artificial Intelligence and Explainable AI
- Piloting, Study Design, and Management
We foster cross-collaboration with psychologists and psychiatrists, both within our team and from the Faculty of Philosophy of University of Maribor, particularly in the fields of human-centric research, independent living, mental health, and pedo-psychiatry.
Our Social Robot: Frida
Another member of our research group is Social Robot Frida, reflecting our dedication to exploring the vast possibilities of AI in enhancing human experiences and contributing to more patient-centric healthcare. Through collaborative efforts, and with strong support from domain experts at University Medical Center Maribor, we aspire to redefine the capabilities of digital solutions and artificial intelligence, where technology intersects with our daily lives.
