About Data For Good
Data For Good is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 that brings together a community of over 4000 volunteer tech experts including data scientists, analysts, engineers, developers, and designers to put their skills to work for the benefit of associations, NGOs, and the social and environmental sector. The organization runs annual acceleration seasons where a handful of projects are supported by volunteers on social, societal, and environmental themes. Since 2014, Data For Good has co-created and accelerated over 100 projects while also advocating for responsible and ethical technology. The association is fully volunteer-based, open-source, and citizen-driven, and its members are committed to using technology for the greater good.
