  • We would like to invite you to the SF Hackathon, a open source AI event in SF on March 31st at 6pm EST.
  • We will be organizing this event here on Huggingface Hub and will be communicating with participants through the HuggingFace Discord Server. Check the dedicated SF hackathon channel to stay updated with the event. Prizes will be given at the end of the event. See the Prizes section below.

Hackathon Tracks :

Participants can take part in different tracks of the SF Hackathon. Each track will have winners announced at the end of the event! These tracks are:

  1. Ethics Track - Participants need to create ethics focused Gradio app. See example here: https://huggingface.co/spaces/society-ethics/featured-spaces-submissions
  2. Hack Track: Artists inspiring Hackers (artists talking about what tools they actually need / would use and hackers building those)
  3. Art Track: Hackers inspiring Artists (educating artists on new ML tools that have come out and using that to build new kinds of art)
  4. Healthcare Track - Participants create Gradio demos with a healthcare focus
  5. Chatbot Track themes - In this track, we encourage participants to create demos around chatbots like chatgpt
  6. Diffusers track - Create Gradio demos using the Hugging Face Diffusers Library!
  7. Trasformers track - Create Gradio demos using Hugging Transformers library!
  8. Anything track - Anything goes, create gradio demos/models/datasets for any of your ideas!

How to Participate :

To participate in any track in the SF Event, first make sure you have read the email for invited participants and bring proper equipment needed.

  • For all tracks, create and submit a new Gradio Demo:
    • Step 1: Join the SF hackathon organization (this org) on Hub.
    • Step 2: Share your gradio demos with the community at the event on social media and spread the word about the Event πŸ€—
