Prompt Guide

Improving Results

• Always use anthro keyword in your prompts
• Try with Euler A, ~25-30 steps, CFG Scale 4-6
• Review the prompt examples
• Most prompts that are compatible with ye18/yiffy-18 model will work with minor adjustments. You will get better results if you...:
  • Use underscore (_) for E621 tags that contain a space, e.g. looking_at_viewer
  • Prefix meta category with meta:, e.g. meta:digital_media_artwork
  • Prefix species category with species:, e.g. species:leopard
  • Same for species, character, copyright, lore, and artist
  • Depending on your tool, you may need to prefix colon as \:, e.g. meta\:portrait
• Stable Diffusion 2.x does not do well if you are trying to replicate a style of a specific artist; use the prompt to describe your goal instead of the art style
  • This is a known issue with 2.x
  • See example prompts to understand what is and is not possible
  • Consider using img2img with 1.x models if specific artist styles are important to you
• Negative prompts seem to be more important for generating quality images with Stable Diffusion 2.x than Stable Diffusion 1.5
• Recommended tags:
  • anthro
  • species:X
  • male, female, gynomorph, ...
  • rating:explicit, rating:questionable, or rating:safe
  • meta:digital_media_artwork, meta:digital_drawing_artwork, or meta:digital_painting_artwork
