TERMS FOR PERSONAL TRAINING
The agreement regulates terms and obligations in connection with the purchase of personal training (PT) at SATS Norway. The agreement is subject to the General terms for membership in SATS.
Training takes place at the Member's own responsibility and risk. The Member must assess whether their general health condition and training background are sufficient for training with PT without the risk of injury/illness. In addition, when purchasing PT, the Member is obligated to provide the personal trainer with all relevant health information, including past illnesses/injuries, etc. It is expected that the Member will immediately inform the trainer if any exercises cause pain or similar discomfort. If the Member chooses to continue training after the session, it is at their own risk, and neither SATS nor the personal trainer can be held responsible for any injuries the Member might incur in this context.
The agreement is valid for 12 months from the purchase date, except for 50-clip packages which are valid for 16 months from the purchase date. All clips must be used within this period.
The Member has the right to exercise their right of withdrawal by giving written notice to SATS within 14 days from the signing of the PT contract, according to the Right of Withdrawal Act § 11. Clips that have been used will not be refunded.
Unused PT clips will not be refunded by SATS, except in cases where the Member terminates their membership due to special circumstances according to SATS' current General membership terms.
SATS reserves the right to appoint another personal trainer if needed.
PT60 is a 55-minute training session with PT. PT30 is a 25-minute training session with PT.
If the Member arrives late for a booked PT session, the session will be counted from the original start time of the booked session. If the personal trainer is more than five minutes late, the Member will receive a new session free of charge.
Cancellation of a session must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions that are canceled later than this, or which the Member does not attend, will be charged in full. Separate rules apply for PT in groups.
Personal training should be conducted in SATS' premises or in their immediate vicinity. It is not allowed to conduct training at competing fitness centers.
Terms for installment payment
The due date for installment payment is the 20th of each month. The installment payment amount is invoiced on the first possible withdrawal, along with the monthly membership fee to SATS.
For members with an active Direct Debit agreement, the current agreement with the associated account number will be used for payment. The member must ensure that the upper limit of the Direct Debit agreement covers the total monthly fee to SATS.
For members without an active Direct Debit agreement, the member is encouraged to set up a Direct Debit agreement as soon as possible.
If the membership in SATS is terminated before the installment payment of the PT agreement is completed, the outstanding amount must be paid in full to SATS.
For cash membership in SATS, a separate payment agreement for personal training must be established.
