This space is a demo for our ACL 2023 paper: Black-box language model explanation by context length probing.

It tries to explain causal LM predictions by measuring how predictions change with varying context length. In the demo, each token is highlighted with a color that corresponds to the change in the prediction when that token is added to the context.

Upgrading the hardware should enable running inference faster and with longer inputs, and it would be great to have this for ACL 2023, which starts on July 9.
