Depth Map creates a totally black png downloadable file? Any way round this?

Hi, I've been using Midas to create 3d Depth Maps but thought I'd try Depth Anything as it seems to create better depth Maps. However, after uploading a file and submitting it for creation, it goes through the process showing a beautifully done depth map. The only problem is if you try to download the file (and I'm using PNG format) it just gives a black square as its output. Am I doing something wrong or is there a work-around for this problem? Thanks for your replies. Simon.

The Files I have attached are of my own making and do not contravene any copyright.

Sadly it wont let me copy the original of my artwork but here is the depth map created (B)and the depth map downloaded (C)

Hi ! Your image is not black is just that the information is only on the red channel and somehow is buried very deep.
You would have to normalize it, by that I mean to take the information to 0-1 levels or 0 - 255 if working non float.

As to why this happens I haven't checked the code since I ran depth anything over at comfy.

EDIT: I did a quick normalization but the gradient is there.
