I found that looking for the synonyms is the most useful, because I think it is important for me to find synonyms and consider the meaning of the sentences in another way.

Do not read for too much detail. Since the question is tied to a particular portion/section of the text/passage, reading beyond it for extra details would waste your time and may bring confusing particlarly if it contains distractor.
Skim the text and scan for keywords and look for synonyms and paraphrase
