Course Overview

Improve Your IELTS Writing Score is a dynamic and interactive course containing the language skills and strategies that you need to achieve your desired score in the IELTS academic writing test.

It is suitable for those applying for higher education or professional registration in an English-speaking environment as well as for migration to English-speaking countries, including Australia.

The course includes:

  • opportunities for you to practise writing IELTS responses
  • activities to build self-assessment and editing skills
  • model responses
  • interactive activities and quizzes
  • discussion forums with learners from around the world

Course Content

In this course you will learn about:

  • the format of the test
  • the band descriptors and what the marker is looking for when assessing your writing
  • the types of questions that you may be asked and how to respond to these questions confidently and accurately
  • grammar and vocabulary relevant to Tasks 1 and 2
  • useful tips to help you achieve a higher score

    Hi, I always think English writing is harder than listening and reading but easier than speaking.
    When I want to write something in English I always use Google Translate to write them.
    I hope that after taking this course I will have the ability to write anything in English what I want without a translator.
