Format
Format of Matching Questions
In this type of question, you are required to match a list of items to a set of questions. The format of this question varies from the paper-based test to the computer-delivered test. Learn about the differences below.
Each of the choices will have a letter and they will be displayed in a box. You will have to select the correct letter for each of the questions and then transfer your answers to the answer sheet. Look at the example below:
Questions 1 – 5
Who is responsible for each area? Choose your answers from the box and write the correct letter A – H next to questions 1 – 5.
A Finance B Food C Health D Kid’s Counselling E Organisation F Rooms G Sports H Trips | 1 Mary Brown ______ 2 John Stevens ______ 3 Alison Jones ______ 4 Tim Smith ______ 5 Jenny James ______ |
The possible answers are usually on the right of the screen. They are individually found within a box and are not labelled with a letter as in the paper-based test. To answer, you need to move the box of your chosen answer to the gap next to the question on the left.
