Format
Format of Diagram Label Completion Questions
You will be presented with a diagram that has some empty (or partly empty) labels with gaps to fill. You need to complete them by finding the missing information in the reading passage. It is important to read the instructions carefully to see how many words you can use. The instructions also tell you that the answers should come directly from the passage. This means that you must not change the form of words in your answer and you cannot add words that are not in the passage.
Diagrams can represent a range of topics including:
- a description of an item
- a plan
- a process
- or a drawing.
Note: It is possible that diagram label completion tasks will require you to choose answers from a list of words and phrases rather than from the reading passage. However, this type of completion task is not very common. To be certain, always read the instructions carefully.
