Welcome to the first lesson of IELTS Online Speaking!

Speaking is one of the two productive skills tested in the IELTS test, and you will be assessed on how effectively you can use your speaking skills to communicate in English.

Before you learn about the different strategies and language skills, it is important that you have a thorough understanding of the test.

In this lesson, you will learn about:

    • the format of the test and its different parts, 
    • the types of questions you are asked in the different parts of the test, and
