IELTS Speaking Mock Tests

IELTS Speaking Practice Tests

In this course, you have learnt many strategies, language skills and tips on how to approach the IELTS speaking test, and now it is time for you to apply your newly acquired knowledge with our sample practice tests.

There are two IELTS speaking practice tests for you to try. Each test consists of:

  • Part 1: three topics with four questions each.
  • Part 2: one topic card.
  • Part 3: two topics with four questions each.
  • Self-assessment checklist.

Completing these two practice tests will help you to:

  • Practice under test conditions: It is important that you complete each test without any interruptions. Find a quite place where you can listen to and answer the questions. It would also be a good idea to turn off your mobile phone if you have one. Also, have a pen/pencil and a piece of paper ready for Part 2.
  • Put your new skills and strategies into practice: Use the strategies, language skills and tips you have learnt in this course to answer the questions in the different parts of the test.
  • Gain confidence in answering questions in English: You will feel more confident and better prepared for your speaking test as you will know what to expect for each part of the test.
  • Understand your strengths and weaknesses: With the self-assessment checklists, you will be able to identify which areas you need to pay attention to in order to perform better at the test.
