Dear Mrs. Wanger, I am writing in refference in your plan about making some changes to the school's rules and I would like to express my opinion on such a serious issue. I am in favour of changing some rules because I think it would have more advantages than disadvantages. There are many school rules that should be changed in order to make the school better. To start with a very serious rule that must be changed is the rule that does not allow you to chew gum in class. Chewing gum does not disturb the other students. Also studies have shown that chewing gum can help you focus on things. Moreover students should be allowed to wear whatever they want like short clothes and skirts. Furtermore a rule that must be changed is the rule that the students have to wait until break to go to the toilet. Students are not able to control their stomach and they should go to the toilet whenever the want. In addition to a very strict rule that we have in our school is that we cannot have mobile phones with us. This rule should be changed because childrens need their mobile phones for communicating with our family in case of emergency. Also there is a chance that a child may need a taxi driver to drive hom home. To sum up I hope to take my suggestions into account and do the best you can to change the rules and make the school better. With respect, Stylianos
