There has been a debate on whether airlines should make the seats smaller and stop offering in-flight services such as: meals and entertainment, in order to lower the cost of the tickets. In my opinion, they shouldn't. First of all, most of the planes, if not all, already have small seats, so making them smaller will only make the passengers of the airplane angry because they will not have personal space. Furthermore, during the flight, passengers are asked to turn off their cellphones, so if the airlines stop offering services and entertainment, the passengers will be bored. On the other hand, by making the seats smaller and stopping offering entertainment, the cost of the tickets will be lowered! However, if they lower the tickets cost more and more people will buy tickets so the airlines will be faced to make more airplanes and that will cost more. To sum up, making the seats smaller and stop offering services in order to lower the cost of the tickets has both benefits and cons. I believe that they shouldn't make the seats smaller because it will only make the passengers angry.
