A lot of students nowadays take up some musical instrument such the guitar or the piano. They find it creative and also a very good way to spend their free time. However should of students be required to learn how to play a musical instrument or not. At first I think that playing a musical instrument is something that can make you relax. For example, after a very hard day of school, some student, play their favorite song on the piano and they then feel relaxed. I believe that it is very useful to learn how to play on instrument. Some of my classmates also bring their guitars on school trips and we have fun. Singing while being on the bus on the way to our trip. Some students who find out that they are gifted in playing a musical instrument, then continue playing their favorite instrument then continue playing their instrument more seriously and then they might even succed and becamie professional musicions from a hobby they started when they were younger in order to spend their free time. On the other hand, not all students like playing on instrument. There are even students who are pressured from school and they can't stand that strict routine. For instance, my best friend Harry used to play the guitar and also had lessons every week. Now that he has to study really hard for all the exam and especially for school, he does not have enough time to play the guitar. Finally some of the musical instruments are very expensive. Some family usually can't afford having one at home. The piano also takes of space of home. To sum up, I think that learning how to play musical instrument is a really fun, creative and relaxing activity. However I believe that it is a little expensive and that students should not be required to learn how to play a musical instrument.
