Many kids nowadays enjoy music so they decide to start learning how to play a musical instrument. This decision is made exclusively by them and this is why I believe that students shouldn't be forced to learn how to play one.

First and foremost, it is common knowledge that there are many students out there who do not want to play a musical instrument and forcing them to learn how to play one, is not going to make them more passionate about it. Instead, they're going to feel pressured and start losing interest in music.

Additionally students already have most important school duties to deal with and by adding one more thing to study for, they are being even more pressured and as a result, they will start failing in other important subjects.

To sum up, I believe that it would be wrong to force students to learn how to play a musical instrument, because not only some of them don't want to learn how to play one in the first place, but also, it could cause problems on their grades on more significant subjects.
