I was curious to know who has the rights to the photos the AI generates? I don't see it listed on the site, but I could be blind.

If the photo is very similar to or plagiarises some image that was on the database it was trained on (for instance, anything that shows cartoon characters), the original creator still has a copyright claim on the generated image. If the image is an original creation, then it is copyright-free, except if it the result of a complex prompt that required a lot of thought and artistry, in which case the image is a creation of the person who wrote the prompt.

Prompt writing will be a new artform in the future. It has already started.
