After building Consilium, my multi-AI expert consensus platform for the Gradio Agents and MCP Hackathon, Deborah Dahl introduced me to the Open Floor Protocol.
This protocol provides a standardized JSON message format for communication between conversational agents and human users across different platforms.
šš²š š¶š»šš²šæš®š°šš¶š¼š» š½š®ššš²šæš»š:
ā šš²š¹š²š“š®šš¶š¼š» - transferring control between agents
ā ššµš®š»š»š²š¹š¶š»š“ - passing messages without modification
ā š š²š±š¶š®šš¶š¼š» - coordinating behind the scenes
ā š¢šæš°šµš²šššæš®šš¶š¼š» - multiple agents collaborating
I am already working on a version of Consilium where you can add any Open Floor-compliant agents š.
